Pregnancy Resource Center-January 25, 2017

Valerie White, Center Director, Pregnancy Resource Center of Greater Hazleton was our speaker and presented with a check for $1,850.00 at Wednesday's meeting to help with its 2017-2018 “Earn While you Learn” program. The money was allocated through a Rotary Club 2016-17 Community Grant Program. These “Service above Self” community grants are intended to benefit organizations and agencies in communities in Greater Hazleton.

Not-for-profit agencies that had special project needs were encouraged to apply for a Rotary Club grant. A number of applications were submitted and a Rotary Project Committee made a final selection after interviewing a semi-finalist round of candidates. The Pregnancy Center of Greater Hazleton was one of those selected.
