“We are pleased to announce that, Lauren Gombeda, 2019 Hazleton Area High School graduate, has been selected as the Hazleton Rotary Club Technical Scholarship winner” says project chair Dr. John Madden. “This is the first time we have provided a technical scholarship and we hope it will be possible to continue the practice in the future.”
The daughter of Barbara and David Gombeda, Lauren will receive a scholarship of $1000 and she will be working towards obtaining a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Information Sciences and Technology at Penn State University-Hazleton Campus.
