The Rotary Club of Hazleton recently donated $700 to the Hazleton Rotary Foundation to fund two Rotary Youth Leadership Awards to the 2018 RYLA Leadership Development camp.
This opportunity takes place for a week every summer. Students from Rotary District 7410 attend the camp located at Keystone College. Two students will be funded by the Hazleton Rotary Club and two by the Hazleton Rotary Foundation
Young men and women spend a week in a challenging program of discussions, inspirational addresses, leadership training and social activities designed to enhance personal development, leadership skills and good citizenship.
Attendance at RYLA is by scholarship only. All winners are selected and funded by their local Rotary Clubs.
